Journey 2: Korea 3rd e-icon World contest Day 4 & 5

Hye!
Sorry for the delay. Was very busy these few days helping anak-anak completing their projects physically and mentally.
1st sept 2013
it was the final day for the participants to complete all the things that need to be done since from 2nd Sept onwards, we have to go to COEX Exhibition Centre in Seoul for the next stage.
it seems like most of the participants were stressing out during the final day since they need to get every things done perfectly.
having to encounter this situation, i secretly hope that somebody would have told me the same thing when i was having the same dilemma back in my teenage years. :') but i am thankful that i have got the chance to tell this to my students. all in all, 4th day is full of dramas and sweats. Alhamdulillah, everyone managed to go through it and it is time to prepare for our official presentation!
*focused!*
*bile dh stress, mcm2 pose ade ;)*
2nd sept 2013
presentation day!!!all the girls decided to wear kurungs today! had to admit, the air was pretty intense in the morning since all the anak-anak were preparing for their official presentation. wafiah presented for team d, justin for team k, while ahhyun (korean) presented on behalf of team G.
the truth is, I AM the who stressed out the most. LOL! because the girls freaked out a bit during the local contest. so i was afraid that it will happen again. adding the fact that i couldn't be in the presentation room at all! (although the volunteer had actually invited me to get into the room because she thought that i am one of the participants!haha) so all i could do was to 'eavesdrop' at the door. but i think, it went well and alhamdulillah during the q&a session they managed to be on track.
while the girls celebrated their 'pre-freedom', the boys were still stressing out waiting for their turns.
*last minute preparation before entering the presentation room*
*now entering*
*and now we are back!*
*our lovely team coordinator, Seeun*
during lunch hour, the girls' korean teacher decided to give us a little tour. we thought 'a little' tour means walking down the road to find food that we can eat. after 5 minutes of walking, only then we realised that his definition of 'a little' tour means that we are going on a 40 minutes bus trip! he is actually really excited to bring us to Itaewon since there will be halal food there and he is looking forward to go to the mosque while we pray.
*itaewon Sept 2013*
the rest of the day went fine. we head back to Yongin and had our good night sleep. 6th day is definitely going to be a long day.
